Having studied in the U.S.A., France and Germany and completing his education as a German and European Patent Attorney as well as a Master of Laws, Nanno Lenz has been focusing on the international prosecution and enforcement of patents, trade marks and designs. To further improve the legal framework providing for adequate international protection of intellectual property rights, he is active in various committees of German and international intellectual property organizations. Nanno Lenz is President of the German Chamber of Patent Attorneys (Patentanwaltskammer). He is also a member of the Patent and Utility Model Law Committee of GRUR and the Disciplinary Board of Appeal of the European Patent Office. Until 2015 he was President of CNIPA (Committee of National Institutes of IP Attorneys). Nanno Lenz is married and has three children.
